Ambassador François PUJALAS visited Futuka

At Futuka CEF, the young people received a distinguished visit. The boss of French diplomacy in the DRC came to inquire about the training conditions of the Academy and what his country can expect from KFA project.

For three hours, François PUJALAS, Ambassador of France in the DRC visited the Training Center of Futuka, a beautiful cadre born from the idea of Moses Moïse KATUMBI keen to training and promotion of young people.

At the end of his visit, the French diplomat said: « The President of the French Republic wishes to renew a partnership with friendly countries like the DRC. Among the projects that have impressed my country is the supervision of young people through an Academy like this one…» Sport being ideal an area where young people can express themselves, the French diplomat hailed this beautiful venue where young people are trained in a very positive state of mind.

Beyond the academy, the visitor of the KFA was surprised by the quality of the environment, a total preservation and a sanctuary of nature in a very reasoned and sustainable use of natural resources. « This is a reproducible example elsewhere but also in the DRC » he said.

Before leaving the center, François PUJALAS welcomed the approach of the authorities of the Academy who have just signed a post-training contract for the benefit of its residents who will now go to Clermont FC to complete their training. The ambassador is ready to support the success of this important project.

François PUJALAS was accompanied by his wife and Françoise BALAIS, director of the French Institute in Lubumbashi.
